The MSSDA trials are nationally recognized events, with the results published in the Working Boarder Collie magazine, a nationally publicized magazine.  Handlers come from all over the country to compete in these trials.  Entrants from as far away as Texas and Florida have appeared at these events.  These trials showcase the abilities of over 100 dogs.  Many handlers bring several dogs to each competition.
